What will the selling process look like for my business?

We understand that selling your business is a big decision, especially for a Founder/Owner whose legacy is at stake. We commit to a professional, confidential, and careful process:

  1. Your Interest
    You can contact us through our Contact form.
  2. Initial Intake Call
    We have a confidential conversation about your community, company, and plans at a high level.
  3. Non-Disclosure Agreement
    We enter into a confidentiality agreement to protect the company information you choose to share with us.
  4. Introductory Meeting
    We schedule a face-to-face meeting. We want to build a relationship. Often, we can arrive at a ballpark value for your business at this meeting.
  5. Further Discussions & LOI
    We'll do more diligence by signing a Letter of Intent that would allow us to look over your business's critical details and prepare a written offer that includes a valuation, proposed structure, and timeline for purchasing your business.
  6. Collaborative Due Diligence & Transition Planning
    We continue to build a relationship and agree on the final terms. Our goal is to arrive at a favorable price and deal structure for both parties. In addition to equity, we can explore debt and seller financing where appropriate.
  7. Transition Closing & Onboarding
    We complete the sale process, appropriately communicate the transaction to employees, customers, and partners, and begin working together on a day-to-day basis to create added value.
